How long is it ok to wallow after a breakup?

I broke up with my boyfriend around 2 weeks ago, not because I don't love him but because he has some serious issues and it just got bad. I miss him like hell but still went completely no contact. Now all I want to do is eat junk and watch TV, but I don't want to look like crap in case I bump into him somewhere. I've tried to hit the gym and also see friends and stuff but I really have to force myself. How long is it ok for me to stay blah like this?
