He said he’s not attracted to me and he was drunk when he got me pregnant and it wasn’t the plan to marry me. We don’t have money to get alimony it’s only been married a few months. Military marriage
He told her he can’t leave yet until he gets his money right. He also told her the plan is to leave me. Can I use there text to sue her?
Your husband made some very hateful comments to you. Is he the one in the military or you for both of you?The reason I ask, is because I was in the military when my ex decided (after 15 years of marriage and one kid later) to end our marriage. I know what you may be facing.
He’s in the military
Then as a dependent, you still have options. You can use the base JAG office for guidance. They cannot provide you with a lawyer, BUT they CAN give you direction on what to do. The military cannot grant you a decree of divorce, but their guidance can be extremely helpful. It's free, so make as much use of that as possible.IF he and the other girl are having sex, this is considered adultery AND is against the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). He CAN be court martialed for that. He's in the military, therefore he has a fixed "guaranteed" income. It may not be much, but it's something and it also assures you WILL get child support. As for alimony, HE would be the one responsible to pay YOU that $$ each month up to a couple years. You wouldn't pay anything. You cannot "sue" that other woman, but through a divorce, you can make his life pretty miserable to the point she and him may not be able to be together much.I'm sorry he's done this to you and you child. There's no excuse to behave like he has and is still doing. You have options. Staying with him doesn't look like it's the best one to choose.
She’s a home wrecker
