Why do people have to ask questions for getting blocked/ghosted when they know full well the reason?

Wait? The guy was you? Thought it was someone else. Surprised me. You’re one of the most straightforward, direct guys on here! Firstly, you don’t owe anyone on here an explanation for anything! Secondly, from reading what she wrote, she definitely really liked you a lot and was hoping it would be reciprocated. You have to remember that a lot of guys would eagerly encourage her level of sharing but not necessarily for the right reasons (for a sexting fuck buddy but the girls are always in love with the guys and some are just creepy weirdos who could take things too far). I’ve had a scary stalker who saw me on here and went full on stalker mode into my real life even though we’d never spoken about anything remotely personal. Point is, you’re probably a good guy and she’s probably a nice girl (probably naive)... you both had a bad experience because mutual boundaries were not respected and going your separate ways is smart. Don’t worry about it... these things happen a lot!

I don't know that girl, but I've seen enough of your questions and opinions to have an idea of the kind of person you are. I trust you.

You'd made it clear to her that her intentions were not welcome and asked her to stop. She seems to not understand the concept of consent. You have the full right to block and you don't owe her an explanation at all.

Also I noticed a few people on her question who have read your question here and have asked her about it. She seems to have completely ignored those questions. Can't really say for sure if this is the case but she seems to not want to hear the truth and is just looking for sympathy.

You were right to stand your ground. And more tactful then I would have been. I would have flamed the shit out of anyone who tries to pry into my personal life or talk shit about my family or condone the actions of scumbags before blocking them. In my case, it's more guys than girls, though, that irk my ire here. But I include the pink anons that are OBVIOUSLY guys pretending to be girls in that count.

You are one of the better posters here. I think the other legendary "blocker" is one of the best posters here , too, but that's irrelevant for now.

Sometimes people know, and sometimes they don't. It can go both ways. In this case, it sounds like you had good reason to block her and she should have known that. You did the right thing in that she was attempting to play the victim and portraying you as the abuser.

Sometimes we honestly don't know the reason. A girl blocked me because (unbeknownst to me) she felt offended by some things I said. If she told me that beforehand, I would have tried to rectify it. I didn't know though.
