It depends on the break up. If we left on mutual non bitter terms I don't see the need but if it clearly left a bitter taste in his your mouth... However, simply deleting after too much time has passed becomes interesting... Because it's almost like you already made a statement about the post relationship. So when you delete it, they might reach out back to you wondering why. Basically, not saying it directly, why did you take this long to do it? I feel like if you are going to do it, do it right away and if you do it some time after, just potentially expect them reaching out and for that I guess you can say spring cleaning and maybe defriend a couple other people you have not heard from in a while 🤔

It is best to end all contact with an Ex, keeping in contact with an Ex only make it harder to move on for the most part. Unless you and your Ex both felt that ending your relationship was what you both wanted and ended things friendly, and have remained friends than keeping in contact on social media is fine.

Usually, unless I an convinced that she will not be stalkerish and this won' make it more difficult for both of us to move forward. Even then, I might eventually delete her if I started dating someone new and this might cause some jealousy or questions about whether I have moved on from my ex.

Nah I don’t personally. I don’t like to let them think they’ve bothered me in any way tbh. I mean if they did bother me mad were toxic then I would. The only ex I deleted was one who could not just leave things be and became stalker like which started to feel like harassment, they got blocked.

Depends on the relationship with said person. Deleting someone just because they are your ex makes no sense. Anyone is a potential ex so just deleting people from your life every time you find a new ones, only because they are your ex, is asinine.

I’m friends with one of them so I keep him on there. So does my current boyfriend. The other one though get punched.
If you want the be mentally healthy, that's the first thing you should do. People who don't do that, will keep checking stuff about their ex's and will end up being depressed or mentally fucked up
