You know I don’t hate the guy. Deep down I hope he finds happiness.
@Aimee_ I know sweetie it's just wrong cause your a good girl and you always give off good vibes
I think tears are better -- less destructive -- more internal than external. But I don't know how to do that so much unless I'm really in a corner.
Sorry. Is this a true story?
Yeah. My wife says I'm lucky to be in Japan. Japanese police are very docile here. They don't shoot us so often if we resist arrest. In US I would probably be killed.
You should be thankful to be free. Being free is the best feeling in this world.
I'm more behaved in the US but I've been tasered there. I have an unhealthy rebellious side to authority. In Japan, I've done things that should have gotten me shot if I wasn't in Japan, like kicking jail bars to the point of bending and almost breaking while challenging police officer watching over me to a fight. I did lots of stupid things with broken heart.
I used to think freedom is the best thing in the world but nowadays I think freedom is just what someone else decides you should have. If we wanna be like beasts in society then there is not a lot of freedom there without resistance.
Like if you get in a fight outside, they don't let you have the fight. They call it "assault". And they arrest people. The whole society has become very girly.
Yeah I understand you’re point. I learned something new today. I didn’t know Japanese officers were like that.
Here in Japan, a police officer was reprimanded for just shooting his gun twice while threatened with a weapon. It is a very rare incident but he got in trouble because the committee thought he only needed to shoot one time, not twice. Japanese police are very reluctant to use firearms that way. You can tease them and mess with them and they don't use. You really have to threaten them with truly deadly force if they use, and they'll be reviewed a lot either way.
Also here at banks, there are old men carrying over 1 million dollars USD of cash into the bank. They don't even have a weapon. But no one robs them. We have very low street crime here.
That is very good. Japan rate crime is low. sounds like it’s a good option to think about when deciding to move. It sound safe and authority nicer?
The authority is too nice. I've been so drunk before passing out on the streets and I saved money because police gave me a free ride home -- no warnings, nothing on my criminal record. And parents here let their kids of 5-6 years old ride the subway to school by themselves. It is a very different culture from US.
Us is definitely a dumpster right now.
Come to Japan! We welcome you. But I don't like US either. I am called transphobe just because I don't think someone born a man belong in woman's sports. We at least have common sense here.
That’s very nice of you. I would like to visit Japan one day. Hopefully not so late. Japan has a lot of cool things to see. It’s definitely fun!
