Yes he is lonely. It does not mean he is a hoe. It may could be innocent woman company and companionship as he is Damaged now. It could be the best sex you ever have had. Go and see without preconception and if you radiate a warm and soft energy... that might be exactly what he needs or is seeking.
That’s something to ask him personally because if I had kids and I was getting back into the dating world, someone I just met with nothing serious established would not be meeting my children immediately. He’s being a responsible parent by leaving his children out of the mix until he wants something serious.
