To hate or not to hate?

After a break-up, do you think that starting to hate your ex girlfriend / boyfriend (or at least pretending to...) is a way to suffer a bit less and be able to move on sooner?

  • i agree that hating the person may help you feel better in the short run but in the long run hating them actually requires more effort than I'd want to spend even concerning myself with them. I typically try to just be indifferent or apathetic towards them or even thinking about them
