If she is 18 years old or older she is a grown women and can get around herself. She is not a child that needs to be carreid around. I will pick her up if its more convinient, but if not she can handle it herself.
It's just common sense: Do you really want to spend the ride home next to a guy who hit on the waitress, or made vulgar remarks? Same thing with guys. A lot of deal breakers for both men and women show up before the fourth date, and not locking yourself into having a LOOONG ride home sitting next to each other is just good manners. Men shouldn't offer, and women shouldn't accept.
Hey, to each their own. I've had to many bad dates with worse women to ever do it again, much less advise it for other men, but you're entitled to your deal breakers as much as we are. That's part of the process: Weeding out the wrongs to find the right. I am curious why you wouldn't WANT to have your own transportation, though... I mean, both guys and girls can be creeps. The only difference is a man with a car can just walk out the door if it's too bad, while a woman is stuck. You at least bring cab money, right?
Also, I'd like to add that #8 ties to #6. If a man offer to take you out for dinner, drinks and a movie, it will cost at least $60+. If a woman cannot be bothered to show up on her own for a free, pre-planned outing and the man's company, she is definitely not interested. Frankly, if she can't show up just for the man's company, even then she's not really interested. Nobody "owes" the other something, so just buying someone else dinner is already going above and beyond. If a woman doesn't see that as enough "chivalry" on it's own, I'd tell the guy to run, run hard and NEVER look back. We are more than taxi's and ATMs. We are people, and deserve the same respect and courtesy as anyone else, regardless of gender.
Your negative thinking and reasoning are likely why you ended up going out with such awful women in the first place...
You seem oblivious to the male female dynamic that has run the vast majority of human history. Men provide and women take that and provide back. Men show that they can financially provide for the woman and family, and the woman uses that money to care for all of them. It must start with a man first showing that he can fulfill his role as a man. It obviously does not mean that a woman is not interested if she wants to see a normal display of a man's masculine abilities. If a man is that incapable from the start, then why should any normal female be expected to behave normally in her role as well? How stingy will this man be later? How incapable of even making the most basic gestures towards caring for those he loves? Family requires selflessness. A man who is capable of that can attract a female who is as well.
Why? #8 might seem strange given social conventions, but conventions are not always the most practical solution. Suppose you are on a date and you hit a HARD deal breaker where you don't even want to look at her again, or things just go horribly... Do you really want to have a LOOONG ride home together? OR have to spend $60 for her uber bill? It's good courtesy for both partners not to put the other in that situation, and common sense when you're dating someone you don't really know (which is common in the internet age).

Number 6 is a big one for me. I have experienced it too many times.
I already have these as deal breakers...
Some girl got mad :( they been stalking me... I wonder which deal breaker they dont like me having...
lol. Just ignore them, those who get butthurt by men having standards wouldn't meet them and don't respect men enough to think men should have them.
Haha nice one man! sums up a huge majority unfortunately
Those are MY deal breakers! NICE TAKE!
Yes. Exactly. And they apply to both!
Generally a good Take.
I've been guilty of bringing my ex's up but usually they ask...
Don't worry, if it's asked it's completely ok.
@Fluffy5inch thank you
Was expecting to get triggered but these are on point
What’s up with number 8?

#8 is definitely silly. Having a man pick you up is a chance to judge his chivalry early on. It's only been an issue for me once.
@wolfcat87 Agreed

@wolfcat87 totally agree with this
