Should I lose weight before or after I pursue a relationship?

I plan on losing weight no matter what. Should I lose it before to attract people. Or lose it after to know if someone truly likes me no matter my looks. I want to get fit and was wondering which is better.

  • It should have nothing to do with a relationship. Just start working hard to lose weight and if a relationship starts then go for it.

    • I was just wondering if it was a good idea to rule out shallow people. If I'm chubby the shallow people won't act like they like me just because of my looks.

    • If you lose weight then date someone and then later you put on weight, they could dump you then. Someone who really wants you won't care about your weight.
