Sister wears revealing clothes?

Question

My sister loves to wear revealing clothes. She'll wear tight tank tops and see through leggings like its nothing. Most of the time she's exposing some female body part that shouldn't been seen. When she's wearing a skirt, she has her legs spread out so you can see up her skirt. 

My my friends always want to hang out at my house instead of theirs so they can creep on my sister. When it's just me and her home, she's usually toppless and acts like it nothing. She's a beautiful girl with a great body and if she wasn't my sister I would to see her dress like she does. I love her with all my heart But since she's my sister I would prefer that she dressed so that her chest and butt are showing. How should I bring this up to her. My sister is 19 and I'm 17

She is your sister, so there shouldn't be an issue. But you are a guy and I'm cool dressing half naked around my sister but I probably wouldn't do that if I had a brother.

Talk to her, she loves you, and she will most likely try to make you happy. But just know that I'm only referring to talking to her about clothes she wears when you two are in the house, not when she goes out. When she goes out she dresses like she pleases. But I can see how you wouldn't want her half naked if you think it's indecent and if she's around you.

If you feel like she dressed in a way which attracts bad male attention then tell her so, but respectfully. Not all guys think a short hemline or a little cleavage=easy bang. So maybe ask that question (with examples of what your sister's clothes look like) I say this because your male friends may have liked her for a while.

I agree with the other comments that you can't dictate your sister what to wear, but I also think you have every right to tell her how it makes you feel. And you can kindly ask her to tune it down a bit. But if you do so, there may be a risk that she does quite the opposite, because frankly she sounds a bit immature for her age. Walking around topless with a 17-year old guy in the house, even if it's your brother, I don't know...

You can't really dictate to your sister what she can and can't wear. If you really think it's an issue, then you can talk to her about it but you should realise beforehand that you're the one in the wrong by bringing it up. If dressing that way makes her happy, then you should just support her in it. You have no right to tell your sister to dress a different way.

If she were my sister, I would tell her straight up, dress appropriately. I haven't had to ever tell my sister this before, but I would if it came to that. You can still tell your sister how you feel; however, she is legally an adult and as such is entitled to (just as when she wasn't an adult) her own choice of clothing.

Sometimes one has to tolerate such things. My elder sister (2 years elder) doesn't care and wears short & revealing clothes. Had she been not my sister, I would have certainly had more penetrating look.

I have the same issue with my sister. I told her to wear appropriate dress but she doesn't care. Sometimes she even walks nude from her room to washroom and back, knowing my presence.

Sometimes I think it's passive/aggressive... attraction is power... and it's power that a brother won't / can't reciprocate... Sometimes it's a safe way for a girl to show-off; think of the difference in attention between being 13 and 15+... way too young emotionally to deal with it.

At 19, I would hope that your sister could find healthier outlets for her sexuality and understand this (American) clothing boundaries... I know a Danish woman who tells me that nudity within a family is hardly given a thought; but to me it's unnecessary... If I were raised there, maybe I'd think differently.
