She simply likes the way you look that way better and does it for her own pleasure, like you'd paint your walls to make your room look nicer because you like it to look nicer. A guy is a person though and not a wall, so she doesn't have the right to force him to bend to her will. He should tell her so. Her behavior is selfish.
The ones that do that sort of things might be thinking they are helping him. Even if he doesn't want it, they do it anyways. Not all women do this of course, I for one don't. I make suggestions say, if he has food stains on his clothes and offer to wash them or if he solicits my advice. But that has only ever happened once to me, most of the guys I've dated have good fashion sense anyways and know how to keep up with grooming.
The only thing i could see "changing " about a guy I'm dating is maybe the cologne. If I really like the scent I might let him know I like it and do the *elbow elbow, wink wink* and hope he catches on.
I've bought my boyfriend T-Shirts, but he wears T-Shirts all of the time. Have never bought him anything he wouldn't like. I like to make him happy. Maybe they haven't been with their boyfriend long enough?
Women who do that just aren't physically attracted to you in my opinion. Those are the girls who like you for your personality. Well thats just what I've done to guys i wasn't really attracted to (not proud),
I hate the way my be does not put any outfits into his outfits. I don't necessarily change his clothes, but i advise him on what to wear. He is my man, I need to be attracted to him.
You are absolutely right. But the main reason is that girls want their friends to think their guys are good looking and they want their guys to look nice from their perspective :)
i've found the opposite to be true. guys LOVE it when girls take an interest in their clothing and like recommendations. just what i've experienced.
I hare people who want to change their S/O. You should love someone for who they are, not what you can make them. I don't understand why you would, it's hurtful and it can confuse you both.
Yeah, I used to do that with my bfs when I was much younger. Boy do I regret it. One should like their partner as they are. Its wrong trying to change someone. I wouldn't like it if a guy told me how to dress...*shudders*
Best wishes
