I still like playing monopoly the original game not the updated versions.
Lol, wouldn't it better to get to know each other without any distractions?
No, that puts too much pressure on the conversation and leads to awkward moments.
Games don't necessarily have to be a distraction. Some folks are hardcore board gamers, it's a hobby. Particularly folks who are into newer American stuff or Eurogames. Board games are also nice because they offer a shared experience and opportunities to joke about in game events and to look at how the other person thinks. Besides, once things get more serious, are people really supposed to constantly sit on their thumbs and talk about their day to spend time together? Besides, it's more interaction than going to the movies together. Board games and dancing sounds like an epic night.
@Miezko You people seriously.. too much pressure on the conversation? What? It's a conversation.. It's basic social interaction.. It's not rocket science. Awkward? Maybe if you make it awkward and even then, awkward moments can actually help develop attraction. If you're both into board games, awesome.. Go right ahead.. But there's nothing wrong with having a long and deep conversation and I think it's preferable if you're trying to get to know each other. Lol.. I could not imagine what a girl would be thinking if she's meeting me for the first date and see's me approach her with my chess board under my arm...
Oh teach us simpletons more oh great and powerful pick up artist.
