Demonization of each other, and lack of empathy between the two genders. You're getting increasingly more misunderstandings between men and women because increasingly, neither gender cares about trying to understand the other. You don't understand how something, or someone, works? If it's disposable, and you can just pick another shinier, newer model up off the shelves at any time, then who cares? Why bother getting to know how it works, trying to understand it well enough to make things work better or to fix things if stuff goes wrong? Everyone just does the easy thing, the same thing that everyone else does and that everyone else encourages them to do. Dump it, him or her in the trash, and go out to buy a new one. Because in the age of consumerism, everything and everyone's disposable. And if you've got any misunderstandings with a person, even if they're supposed to be your 'one and only true love', then just the same as if you're got misunderstandings with your smartphone, you're supposed to just toss it, him or her away flippantly, without a second thought or even a hint of regret, and move on to the next one- because it's newer, shinier, more progressive, expensive and even more disposable, which automatically makes it 'better'.1

I think all of them partially.
First of all lack of communication, sometimes we express ourselves in different ways that's why we need to help each other understand what we really want. If we don't tell them what we want they will never know why we feel upset (Same goes for men).
The truth is that our thoughts about opposite sex's thoughts and actions may be far from truth. Thus we should talk, even about the things that we think we shouldn't talk about, because of our pride or fear...
Lack of communication can cause playing mind games in some people which can be very exhausting.1
