He has the same view on womens issues as I do and I appreciate his support. I don't think I could date a man who didn't have feminist views on women's issues.
And I definitely think it benefits him as well since I try to be more independent and do things on my own before asking for help. I don't depend on him to do everything, just like he doesn't depend on me to do everything.
It is an absolute deal breaker. Men and women are more than equal greatly in favor of the woman.
I also wanted to take the opportunity to tell all you feminists out there radical or not that you truly are all a bunch of filthy shrews, and I truly hope you all die childless and alone with no one to look after you or support you.
No i don't even want to be around its followers. Somebody close to me died from prostate cancer and i heard of a group of feminists who were protesting against increasing the very low budget for protest cancer research. As they would like to see more men die from cancer. They also hounded a group of mothers of sons, who had died from cancer, and who wanted to raise awareness about that issue.
Oh and "man spreading" "mansplaining" "toxic masculinity" articles in the washington post "why can't we hate men" kill all men # etc etc Women have had equal rights for a long time and it has since basically become a far left hate group. Fuck feminism even my fiancee hates it. I also loathe "mgtow".
Thats just the new male version of feminism. I watched a few of their youtube videos and i just had to stop, and i couldnt watch any more of it. I think their vile and as awful as their 3rd wave feminist sisters.
I like conservative guys, and I'm a sane feminist. I'm not a radical feminist and I don't believe in completely eliminating gender roles and all that. Im pretty conservative myself. However, if you believe in equal rights for men and women, you are indeed a feminist. That's all that feminism is.
But that's not all that that is. If you believe in equal rights, then you are a Men's Rights Activist. That's all that MRAs are. They just believe in equal rights for both genders. It's fallicious because feminism only cares about women't rights and MRA only cares about mens rights. Both of them assume that the other has an advantage and to make it equal they raise their own gender's side.
Neither are actually supporting equal rights as they would fight for the other side's gender rights as well, and team up together. Anyone that says one of those is using a fallacy.
@Salohcin22 femistism is a women rights activist group. Not a gender equality group. You can't have a gender equality group who primary ( and honestly only) focus is on one group. Your thinking of egalitarianism not FEMinism
If we're talking about a serious relationship, with a take her home to mama type of girl then that depends on if feminism defines her. If she's just a girl that says she believes in equal rights and because of that she is a feminist, then sure. If she believes in equal rights, that women don't have equal rights to men, the wage gap and rape culture. Then no I'm not on board. at least not for an exclusive relationship that could lead to marriage.
I have noticed most girls that say they are feminists dont even know what the definition really means and most of them are hypocrites as well.. Not all but most... The thing is in 2017 they do have equal rights if not more rights and privileges then men do... This is not 1674 any more.. Women have the same rights as men do... like said if not more in 2017.
No. Feminism has good qualities but there is a flaw with it. Women fighting for equality and equal opportunity. How often does a woman desire to be a janitor and scrub shit out of public restrooms? Or be a construction worker? That sounds more like equality only when the opportunity is beneficial.
Then they're not feminists. A lot of women claim to be but don't agree with the radical agenda. It just sounds good so the say they are.
Even some feminists crave strong men. Some will even admit to the desire to be dominated sexually. You can't argue with a bazillion years of biology. :)
just funny how many retards out there associate feminists with those special snow flakes acting real bad and pretending to help a cause they don't even understand...
Those people probably live too comfortable of a life and has nothing to do so they are bored and started thinking about why female nipples aren't treated equally as male nipples
Regardless of what feminist tell you, feminism isn't JUST equal rights. It's the notion of equal rights PLUS the notion that women don't have them PLUS that men have it better PLUS that men oppress women.
Damn, if someone is NOT a feminist that would mean they are not for equal rights, which would mean they'd consider me to be lower and them to be superior to me. So yes, I would date a feminist. I solely date them.
@Superchick123 equal rights? its a joke nowdays, in western societies women have all the rights men have plus the law is on their side, they do far less dangerous jobs, get more education, make the same money (Providing they have a useful degree and work as hard as men so theyre going to get paid the same) and above all that demand men intiate, men do this , men do that, men open doors, pay, ask them out and make the first move.
@AlexanderMTW "i'm not talking about radical men-hating feminists" pretty sure they mean normal feminists.
@IceCubedude you're looking at it from a male perspective. Which is fine, two halves are needed to make a whole. But look at it from the other perspective. Males still are and always will be the stronger sex. The sex that can endanger the other sex more easily. I don't feel safe always, men (and women too, but mostly men) still don't know boundaries or when rape is rape. Men still have advantages, small ones, sure, but they still exist. I also firmly believe we need feminism here to use it in countries like in africa or the middle east, where women are still living lives under pressure.
I agree SOME women can be entitled and demanding, but generalizing them seems unfair to me. I don't demand men to hold open a door, I can open it myself (feminism!) and I can ask out a guy too. It's not hard, the societal norm is just that a guy take the first step.
If you live in a forst world country, you have equal rights, it may not be perfect but based on the disadvantages and advantages that both genders currently have its balanced.
@OP dude you're 16!! what do you know? iam not trying to put you down or be an asshole but lets be realistic you haven't mingled with enough people to actually know whats going on you're not mature enough to realise right from wrong and neither did i at 16, you're afraid of men becuase theyre physically stronger? what kind of excuse is that, this is a world run on logic and reason not on feelings , "feelings" dont get you food on the table at the end of the day, it doesn't make anyone productive or useful, if you feel that way its cool thats your right, but claiming that because you have a "Feeling" and you dont like something and thats why women should rule the world is the worst argument i have ever heard, as for rape, if you're making out and playing with his dick you sure as hell dont get to scream rape when he decides to slid his hand into your pants, you want equal rights but act like men should bow down to women and worship their wishes, no not gonna happen.
@AlexanderMTW plus you are living the netherlands, what kind of rights you lack exactly, everything is okay there, sex shops, prostitution, weed , women are men and men are mostly p*ssies, i have friends who live there, and who have been there and they tell me there are no boundaries whatsoever, everyone can do whatever they want, as for the middle east, these muslim women are very happy living like that, ask any muslim and she will tell you "iam proud to wear hijab, do this and do that" to us it soudns idiotic and cruel, to them they like it.
@IceCubedude... I have no words for your ignorance, therefore I am shutting down this conversation. You have gotten agressively defensive so no useful words come out of your mouth.
no I definitely wouldn't date a feminist... I haven't really met any sane feminists. I know there are a few sane and good women who for some reason call themselves feminists, but the people I meet in real life and the see on internet who say they are feminists usually are just bitter sexist and racist persons who hate men and believe in wacky conspiracy theories about "patriarchy" and "male privilege" and so on...
I don't see much of a point in feminism anymore, men and woman are equal where I come from, the UK. May still be some issues here and there but now anything against woman is frowned upon as it should! Woman do have the same opportunity as men now. Some would argue that it's maybe even beginning to turn the other way, haha. I'd date a feminist but not one based off outdated social values.
The both. It's very boring to heard them everyday complaining about everything. They don't act they just whine. When something doesn't go like they want it to go they complain.
Both. The Liberal one was nicer and more willing to listen and understand other viewpoints, but is still kind of a bitch when it comes to certian things. I still talk to her every now and then. The radical one, however, was probably the worst person I have ever met. A complete asshole.
It could just be her personality, I'm a liberal feminist and I honestly like to keep an open mind on everything. I mean it really just depends on how many people you talk to, you can't just assume all feminists are bitchy just cuz of two other people you've met. Why only women?
What about man
@alexei1000
What do you mean?
True Feminist - Yes (if she is my type of girl).
Femi-Nazi - No way.
I generally avoid dating any type of Nazi either
Great minds think alike :D
I believe in equal rights, but I wouldn't date a feminist. I find most to be boring, obnoxious and aggressive natured. Traits I dislike in a partner.
You don't need to be a feminist in order to believe in equality and diversity.
Very true. Don't know why you were downvoted
It is an absolute deal breaker. Men and women are more than equal greatly in favor of the woman.

@Scooby225
Right, that's what I was saying, I completely agree with you.
If we're talking about a serious relationship, with a take her home to mama type of girl then that depends on if feminism defines her. lol love how the dudes give me the thumbs up and the girls thumbs down... ROFL
Like what I said was wrong or a lie... . its 100 percent fucking true...
There are no such animals. "The wage gap" in the same occupation is a Big Lie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW-cO7Gv3PMDon't even go there. I'm so sick and tired of the wage gap debate. I don't side with any side when it comes to this issue.
Nevertheless, "Feminists" today are man hating lesbians, and communistic ones at that.
No. Feminism has good qualities but there is a flaw with it. Women fighting for equality and equal opportunity. How often does a woman desire to be a janitor and scrub shit out of public restrooms? Or be a construction worker? That sounds more like equality only when the opportunity is beneficial.
There's truth to that. Although, to be fair a lot of women said women should be drafted as well as men if the draft is reinstated.
That is a plus
Then they're not feminists. A lot of women claim to be but don't agree with the radical agenda. It just sounds good so the say they are.

There talking about radical feminists.
Omg you're so right. This what people don't understand.
well good luck then the only feminisit men are cucks
No. Men believe in equal rights, no?
I'm pretty sure most men believe in equal rights, I know I do.
@Superchick123 equal rights? its a joke nowdays, in western societies women have all the rights men have plus the law is on their side, they do far less dangerous jobs, get more education, make the same money (Providing they have a useful degree and work as hard as men so theyre going to get paid the same) and above all that demand men intiate, men do this , men do that, men open doors, pay, ask them out and make the first move.
being super nice didn't get me women, what did was me being me and doing my thing, and that thing was never being a cuck or a p*ssy like feminists
Yea, I actually agree with you. I don't like when a guy is whipped.
@AlexanderMTW "i'm not talking about radical men-hating feminists" pretty sure they mean normal feminists.

Of course you are isn't that what losers do when they lose, they retreat
Dude I said nothing about the netherlands, read my post will you?
@AlexanderMTW wrong tag
oh lol.
@IceCubedude sooo now when you don't have any valid arguments left you go into insulting me? Very mature.
you're not that dumb iam sure if you read the two paragraphs i have written you will find plenty of arguments
@IceCubedude again, I do not wish to do so.

As long as she ain't the anti men sexist kind ofcourse i would
I wouldn't even being friends with them would be very difficult for me
Male feminists you mean? I can relate to that
The both. It's very boring to heard them everyday complaining about everything. They don't act they just whine. When something doesn't go like they want it to go they complain.
Hell no! Feminists are probably the most stubborn, thick skulled, rude and picky people I have ever met.
What type of feminist have you talked to, a radical one or a liberal
Both. The Liberal one was nicer and more willing to listen and understand other viewpoints, but is still kind of a bitch when it comes to certian things. I still talk to her every now and then. The radical one, however, was probably the worst person I have ever met. A complete asshole.
