What does this message mean: "My roommate friend and some of her friends were going so we met up with them". There is some typo?

there is obviously a typo/gramatical error. Do you think he meant my roommate's friend and some of her friends were going we met up with them. Or did he mean my roommate, my friend and some of her friends were going so we met up with them. Which option is more likely?

    • so because their roommate's friends and her friends were going, them and their roommate met up with those friends

    • not necessarily, but it could be possible

    • I know his roommate does have quite a few female
Friends so I dunno if he's just referring to one of those or someone else
