Do most guys have a "type"?

And "type" can be either physically or personality-wise, or both. For instance, I have one guy friend who has the most random dating patterns - every new girl he dates is completely different from the last one. Over the years he's dated a political activist/feminist, then an artsy, intellectual European girl, and then after that a sporty tomboy, and now he's with a girly girl who loves fashion and social media. I get the sense he's not the norm though. I guess guys who know what they want will tend to have a "type" more? What does GaG think?
