But what if it makes me above average in income and I drive a fancy car?
Neither of those things make you more attractive physically or personality wise so they don't really matter to me. It's like flowers in front of your house. It's kind of nice if it's there, but many people don't need it and it doesn't affect how well the house is build.
Wouldn't it reflect on intelligence, though?
Not really. Lots of people with average intelligence have high paying jobs. Intelligence is more seen in action than through trappings like job or a car anyways.
Explain examples of intelligence, or lack thereof, in action.
Lack of intelligence:Stuff like explaining a topic to someone and they just aren't getting and you know if you talked to 5 other people they'd probably all understand it. Or they con't understand what or why other people are doing certain things in certain situations. Or just people who have no interest in broadening their knowledge. I'm sure you've know some of these types of people.Intelligence:Someone looking at a problem and being able to figure it out really quickly. Or being able to see and explain a situation from many different perspectives.
Well don't you think being able to run a business that makes so much money would require intelligence? You know, there's plenty of failed house flippers out there, too. Even ones with their precious "college degrees."
I do agree that it does, but it's one facet of what makes up someone's intelligence and them as a person overall. It may matter to someone who highly values intelligence or having a partner with a very successful career, but those things aren't of extremely high importance to me. In that respect I just need someone who is intelligent enough to have a lot of good things to talk about and who makes enough money to support themselves. Again, someone else may have different values, but these are mine.
I don't do any of the work. I hire everything. That's why it's a business and not a job.Plus, I'm just in it for the money.

Why can't anyone do it?
You need to know the market, understand what people want, know certain neighborhoods, get a good builder who you can trust, otherwise the house that's beautiful or unfinished that just sits there and never will sell. Which you'll loose money on.
