Girls, would you date a guy with feminine behavior?

  • The manliest guys I know have feminine behavior. But they are so masculine they can dress up in a little pink tutu and prance around like a little girl. Feminine "behavior" is nothing. It's made up, like whatever each individual decides is "fem behavior' is what they will choose to judge by. So if I eat my bannana and look you in the eyes, you might assume I'm gay. Naw, I just was hungry and we met eyes by accident!

Anyways, I think this means you must be specific. Fem behavior to you is different to someone else.

    • the idea of masculine and feminine behavior is not made up. a lot of the behaviors are influenced by biology, evolutionary psychology and hormones

    • "It's made up, like whatever each individual decides is "fem behavior' is what they will choose to judge by."

      -you

    • @Mr-Kabuki Which is true. The reality of biology doesn't matter when it comes to the individual minds of people who wish to judge you. So if a girl doesn't like "feminine behavior" on her potential SO, then she won't date him. But she's not going to go into a biology book and research what biology thinks are the standard traits of both sexes. That's absolutely retarded lol.

And thus, each mans "femininity" or lack thereof, is purely based on the minds and opinions of whatever woman is looking to date him. The metrics are made up by each woman based on her own life and set of experiences.

So calm your god damn tits with your political anger. Nobody is here talking about SJWs and shit. Fuck off lol.

  • Sure, why not? Femininity or being feminine is not a bad trait so I’m not sure why that would be seen as off-putting. I can behave quite ”masculine” too, and I don’t see how that would make me a bad girlfriend.
I liked @Esotericforu s answer. Kinda like yin and yang, I feel like all humans behave in both ”masculine” and ”feminine” ways. In the end they’re just labels, or categories, that we have created. And in the end they don’t mean jack shit. Femininity is definitely not something only women are free to express, and vice versa with masculinity. They are inherently human traits that have very little to do with sex/gender.

  • We humans have a problem. The problem is that we are classifying humans on the basis of their very basic instinct.
A human be it a man or a woman is the combination of both feminine and masculine. In fact, you are a half human being without the combination of the two. Men have been taught to hide their feminine aspects to maintain their false sense of chivalry.
A boy child is often more inclined to his mother than to his father. No issue is made about this in childhood. But as soon as he crosses 12 or 13, he is trained to become a man who will suppress and tune out emotions. We boys are taught to be emotionally stoic, tough and avoid 'feminine ways'. And we gradually start to resist being so open about our feelings. Another reason men resist going public with their feelings is that it just seems to feminine. But deep inside in our heart, we are lonely. This is our human reality. We have been exploited for too long. In fact, we men are more feminine than women are masculine. We just don't admit to it.
It's hight time we men took off the cloak of hypocracy and got in touch with our 'feminine side'.

Little _bird1, you are lucky that you've got yourself a total human which are rare to find. If I were a girl, I would definitely go out with him as long as he has a 'healthy penis'.

    • ^^^this

    • you argue may be noble and contain some truth (I'm a straight sensitive guy myself). Unfortunately, this behavior will and always will be rejected by the vast majority heterosexual women. No rationale, no changes in the social fabric, no protesting, no education, nada will overcome the female hormones to seek out a masculine mate.

  • I don't know what you mean with feminine behavior. Women have different preference, so some are fine with it and some prefer not to date feminine men. Most women are fine with guys who shows their emotions, talks about them etc. Many are also fine with men who has feminine interests like cooking, caring about their children, sewing etc. But most women prefer a man who don't use makeup, wearing dresses/shirts, over gesturing and using a flamboyant voice if they're heterosexual.

  • Lol, you ask for feminine behaviour and pop up a pic of a guy with a little "feminine" looks.

I think that no man is inherently feminine.
It doesn't matter if he is bi or gay.
You only see guys who are feminine-acting, not actually feminine.
There are guys with long hair and if its combined with softer features, clean shaven and a slender build (not much muscle) , they can appear a bit feminine in terms of looks.

But behaviour, no. I think its just learned.
Guys learn it off either consciously or subconsciously from their mothers or elder sisters. Mannerisms , mostly, but sometimes even deeper, like the way of thinking. This happens more with guys who have been with from single mother households, but can happen to anyone.

Boys are close with their moms at furst, but after a certain age, they start emulating their father to learn and naturally develop into being a man. This is a basic evolutionary trait.
However, some guys never do. They dont develop into their masculine self and instead replace it with feminine behaviour, learned from their mom.
This in my opinion, is kinda like a handicap.
I mean a man should act like a man, in order to be more successive in a man's world, else its just counterproductive.

So , no whatever you hear, most women won't want a feminine man.
Wether consciously or subconsciously, they will reject a feminine guy for a masculine one. As a feminine guy, women may lower their wall around you, but you aren't gonna "get" with her.

And if a girl is into femininity, there's always girls for her to date anyway.

A feminine guy is basically just an undeveloped man.

Its like a girl that didn't develop much ass/breasts.
Sure there may be guys who are ok with it (me personally, i find small breasts cuter)
, but most guys prefer "fuller" girls.

Same thing with girls. The majority won't prefer a feminine man

  • I would (I am mostly straight, but have a thing for effeminate males by general stereotypes).
Now the three kinds of female responses I am seeing are "yes", "no", and "ew no guys should be masculine". The first two are fine, the last one is very disgusting behavior. Why do you expect men to accept who you are, but when a male acts the way he wants, you are against their performing of this behavior? The world doesn't revolve around you.

    • Oh I meant "you" in a general sense, not you as in >you<. Just highlighting what I agree with :)

    • @lumos oh no, I know you were agreeing with me 😊 Only the "thank you" was for you, the rest of the argument was for everyone else. I appreciated that.

  • well I'm no girl but a very very good friend of mine is quite femenine in his manners and yet he's been the biggest womanizer of all of us. Not that being a womanizer is a good thing, don't take me wrong, but on seduction basis it means that his delicacy and femenine side (apart from that fact that he is good looking, true that) play a role in ensuring some safety in women for some reason.

Also don't forget that these men also portray the role of a very sensitive person, which means he might be able to have more empathy with you than the average football player.

    Just saying. Out of experience.

  • a lot of girls in my generation and younger are down for that shit unfortunately, whereas several decades ago that shit would get you ostracized by men and women alike.

  • Generally differences attract each other. I mean a feminine behaviour man will find a manly behaviour woman. No problem for that. Just check out Thomas Anders and his wife. Thomas Anders is very feminine looking and behaviour. His wife is a bit manly looking and I think her behaviour is manly too. They love each other.

He likes to cook and cleans the house like a grownup? Sign me the fuck up.

He shows more emotions than rage and lust? Yes please.

    He likes romantic comedies? Awesome.

He’s a nurturing person and a good father? You bet your ass I want that in a partner.

    • Effeminacy. Google it.

    • because of traditional gender roles...

    • @little_bird1 if by masculine you mean traits like in control, dominant, lack of emotions besides anger, those are probably why a lot of women have difficulty in relationship right? Feminine behavior seems really broad. I'm pretty sure that can include showing emotion and being accommodating.

  • I much rather it now, I have made up my mind tonight that I will either date a bisexual man or a gay one.
Straight men act like the biggest bitches and use good women too much. Give me a man in touch with his feminine side.
