  • Best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. If someone has a history of being violent, irresponsible, drugs, or even cheating, they are likely to do it again. People can change though, so judging someone solely on that is wrong.

    Sometimes when people cheat, their partner might be forgiving and stay with them. However, I don't think they should get a second chance if they have a history of cheating, because that just shows you haven't changed.
