  • Should you? That's up to you, but forgiveness isn't about them, it's about you. It's acceptance, letting go, and moving on. A lot of people hold in anger and keep things like that, never letting go. Should everyone do that? Yes, because it holds you back from living life freely, but that doesn't happen immediately.

    Should you stay with the person that cheated on you? That's a different discussion.

  • I always believe in forgiving. that’s not to say I’d stay with or ever trust the person again tho. The forgiveness is for my wellbeing entirely. Holding onto bitterness is never helpful.
