Your son is about to fall off a bridge, you grab his hand but you are too weak to pull him up. You are slipping, would you let him go or would you?

So your son/daughter falls off a bridge, you grab their hand and you slip and your feet are right on the edge of the bridge where you can't pull both yourself and your son/daughter up in that position. Your grip is slipping and there is no one else to help you, nor is your son/daughter strong enough to pull themselves up or grab on to anything. Would you let them go and save yourself or just keep holding on and both go down?

You are in this situation no ifs or buts. No you are not strong enough nor have the tools to help you out, you have to make a decison that will result in them dying or you both dying.
