So there is a girl in my school (High School) and she is cute and funny and I really like her and I've known her for a long time. I don't know how to approach her and talk to her without any pauses between our conversation. Any help?

If she is in your classes then you can talk about schoolwork then talk about other subjects. When talking to her just be cool and don't be scared or shy. Think of talking to her how you would talk to your other friends.
