What to talk about with a date who is professional soccer player?

I've been talking to this guy for a while and he asked me out on a date in a few days but im wondering, should i ask him a lot of questions about his career or would he prefer me to focus more on him as a "normal" person and talk about his life besides sports and not talk too much about soccer?

Just talk to him like any other guy. So his career would come up but keep the conversation moving. Just kind of read how he is reacting to the questions. It just like other dates he just has a high profile job.
