I really like her, help?

So, I've recently been talking to someone, who is very alike me. We both have the same intetests etc. I feel this connection between me and her, which is a good thing. She's said she wants to talk, and that she likes talking to me, but she's grieving for someone close to her. I know how hard it can be for someone, so I'm always sending her messages of encouragement and support. Will this change her views on me? She hasn't responded to my texts and I'm worried that she won't ever respond again. What should I do?

  • Wondering how her grief affects you is selfish. If she doesn't want to chat. Leave it be, let her come to you with her sadness, but don't make the foundation of your relationship with her that sadness. Be her friend. Remind her there is more to life.

The best thing anyone can do for a greiving friend is to be there for them when needed, WHEN NEEDED. if she wants space, respect that. Don't even worry about how it affects you.

Worry about being a good friend, nothing else.
