Does this guy like me as a friend or more than a friend?

He’s my friends roommate and he just moved in yesterday we’ve been talking and getting to know each other. He made him self lunch and then he offered to make me some too. I said no thanks and then he insisted and he made him and me a sandwich and then he gave me chocolate that he bought (we were alone for like an hour this is when this all happened) we continued talking and getting to know more about each other. So far I like his personality and I find him attractive. Do you think from what I said he only likes me as a friend or potentially something more? I know only time can tell but I meant form what’s been happening so far: what should I do or say to show that I’m interested in him?

Sounds like he is feeling you out and getting to know you and decide if it is going down the friendship path or the more than friends path. It will just depend if you guys click over time and what direction you will take

  Sexual favors are not "taking friendship to the next level." There is just no point in doing that. Yes, you could surprise him, and you could also creep him out attempting a reckless stunt like that and scare him off forever. Some guys are looking for more than "head", HCORE.

  Asker, if you really want to be more than a friend with this guy, let him know. Some guys can get really nervous around girls they like and can clam up and seem antisocial. If you're not interested in him like that, just do what you normally do, and let him know you're just friends if he wants to take it to the next level or something.

  Just tell him outright, you want to be with him. Being straight and direct will show you trust him, and there's no way he could misinterperet your message.

  @hamstersarefood I’m scared that it’ll ruin things if I’m straight with me cause how about if he doesn’t like me back that’ll be awkward because I’m here all the time since he’s my friends roommate and if anything and he doesn’t like me I still wanna be friends with him

  If he doesn't like you back, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Some people aren't right for others, and if you do get rejected, it doesn't have to be awkward. If anything, it should strengthen your friendship since he can trust you.

  @hamstersarefood that is very true! Next time I see him how can I tell him? I wanna tell him when we are alone which is hard to be in the house and I don’t have his contact information

Aha Yeahh that’s true only time will tell. Altho he’s a nice person in general so it’s hard to tell
