What kind of guy does not respond to a thank you text after first date?

My friends say the guy I met last week should have responded to my thank you text-positively or negatively. So if he was interested-great and if not, still send a reply and wish me well etc. Do guys often blow off women completely?

  I have had guys call me after a date, and I still respond with a text thanking them and wishing them well etc. Have had guys actually thank me. Maybe asking too much.

  That’s asking too much. You’re putting your morals on them. Others don’t think like you do so you can’t expect them to act the same way you do. Especially men, they don’t think like a woman
