      The qualifications requirements for Canada are WAY higher than for the U. S there is a reason that the U. S takes more immigrants a year than literally any other country

    • @Waffles731 America takes more immigrants because they’re a bigger country and the vast majority of their immigrants are family members of people who arrived a long time ago. Canada primarily accepts skilled immigrants who speak English; we don’t take in many family members. Because America takes in so many family members it creates a huge backlog so they stop giving out green cards to skilled immigrants, which is why it takes like twenty years to get one. That’s why Canada is way easier to get in to if you have no family already there. The average wait time for getting into America is something like 24 years, whereas it’s about three for Canada.
