This depends on the parties involved and the circumstances. The comfort, interest, connection, chemistry and maybe mutually an uncontrolled lust comes to account.

I would personally be fine with a kiss. [Yet dependable] but i am sure i would not be okay with any further steps.

I voted yes. I would hope so. A kiss is pretty basic, so not that hard to do. It shows attraction, interest, passion and chemistry. I understand not being ready for a kiss, that isn't a deal breaker, but I would be worried or cautioned that maybe the things I mentioned are lacking.

Depends on how long you are in contact before first date. Yes if you know him or her for some months and no if it is like blinddate or you just met at supermarket

I have had dates where we progressed through the stages and found ourselves loving each other. I like to take it in stages but if I can't get a kiss by the third date I don't think she is serious
