Have you ever deleted dating apps after no success or a match gone wrong?

I recently did that after my last tinder experience and deleted okcupid and meetme along with it. I decided at this point I really don't want to date until I find someone in person.

  • Yes. I usually get bored of them or fed up with the guys on there so I remove it and come back to it months later. I'm glad I did because shortly after updating my POF profile, I got a message from my now boyfriend.

  • All the time, then for whatever reason I think "this time will be different".

Been that way for like 5 years, very little success in that time period.

  • Not deleted, but I more or less stopped checking them completely or took a hiatus.

The last one I used years ago (POF I think?), I got sick of not getting replies and no one serious on there. So I just stopped checking it completely.

Sad thing is, I was happier NOT checking it all the time and getting rejected, than when I was on there.

Just take a break from dating apps for now. Seriously, it will make you feel better. Then if/when you want to try again later, just reinstall it

Better still, try new venues of meeting people in person instead.

  • I never used dating apps but have deleted dating websites
that i went on , too many Catfish , too many people lying
about their self , too many high maintenance people.
This one Woman lied to me about her age and she was
older than me and the only way i found out is when her
obituary was in the paper , yes hard to believe but so
true but it was her , she took off 10-15 years off of her
age when she lied to me. Yes these dating sites aren't
worth it and this was a telephone dating that i talked
    to her on.
