yh but also when we go clubbing he gets annoyed really easily and starts fights
Same thing. It's like maybe someone bumps into a guy by accident and the guy starts assumes the other person did it on purpose (unrealistically negative/cynical, jumping to conclusions) so he gets angry from the negative thoughts. Or maybe his ego fuels his thoughts like he thinks he owns the space and no one should bump into him (overly egotistical thoughts), making him angry. Essentially the thinking patterns are poor as I see it unless he has some kind of neurological problem that needs medication and cannot be cured by psychotherapy.
If he wants to improve, he has to learn to challenge his negative thoughts, or someone has to challenge them for him (but he must still ultimately use that other person's suggestion to challenge his own thoughts). This might be of some use:https://youtu.be/WhMmZJ3H1E8
