This is a statistic I found while reading about interracial couples on the Pew Research site. I found it rather peculiar that white people tend to stick more to their race than everyone else. Why is this? And why do other races tend to marry outside their race more? Especially black men and Asian women. When you look at the data, a quarter of black men marry outside their race, while Asian women marry outside their race thirty seven percect of the time. Is there still a stigma among whites to 'stick' together or is it all just coincidental? Also, why do you think so many black men and so many Asian women marry outside their race? Here's the full article if you're interested.
