I'm European (from the U. K.) and I've been living in the U. S. for school for the past year or so. I'm a reasonably attractive girl, and I always got plenty of attention from guys at home and when I'd travel in Europe and beyond. I'm also on the introverted side (but not anti-social), and I'm bookish, so I'm reading a lot. Most of my dates since I've been in the U. S. have been with other foreign men (from Europe, Africa, Asia) and I don't seem to be able to attract American guys very well, as they seem to like a certain kind of highly extroverted, energetic, cute and bubbly type, which I'm definitely not. I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just curious as to why it is that American guys prefer this type, whereas foreign men seem to have more of a "tolerance" for introverts like me?
