Point is that stigma comes out of the knowledge that what the guy is up to is abnormal.
Gay marriage was abnormal until it wasn't. There will always be people who think a certain way but for the mass majority if what I am asking.
So if I say you’re gay for dating a transgender is that a stigma or not? And if not then what was your question about.
Yeah that would be a stigma for sure! You can say it all you want doesn't make it true and most of the country probably has your same thought process but again doesn't make it true.
There are people who are bisexual yet might only find a tiny percentage of men attractive. Being into trans is a form of that. Being bi is a touch of gay. Does that men you’re a bad person? Nope.If a transgender can blend in 100% with normal women in look, personality and so on, then I would say otherwise about you being with her.
I think the woman in the picture above could pass 100% but I would say that is far and few between! Probably a handful that could! Good chat! thanks for the comments!
It's not all about them "blending in" but about them feeling good about themselves and their lives. It's not about them satisfying you or society, it's about pleasing themselves. Just as all women aren't pretty and feminine, all transgender women won't pass "cis" standards. When I was 19 years old dressed in chukka boots a camo jacket and army shorts with short hair, a server at mickey D's referredt o me as "sir"... It's happened more than once and I don't have a deep voice, am five feet 2 tall. I didn't wear makeup as I generally don't. And I guess I'm androgynous. So that sort of stuff will always happen, transgender or not.
@screenwriter not exactly. If it wasn’t about my opinion or society’s they wouldn’t be running around begging for attention & approval. I cannot even think of a natural born woman, no matter how weird looking, who ran around demanding people treat her as a woman. Go watch the video of the game stop transgender incident. It’s very educational.And I don’t really give a crap if you or any other woman looks ‘feminine’. I grade you on behavior. If you act like a man, I tune you out. Looks are not really what makes gender. The fact Caitlyn/Bruce Jenner could buy fake boobs, put on some lipstick and get the cover of Vogue says all you need to know.And don’t come crying when transgenders take over women’s sports from top to bottom. Us men will just laugh.
Well that transwoman is overly angry over being misgendered. I simply told people it's ma'am, not sir and people would immediately refer to me as ma'am. No harm no foul. That transwoman was very tall and shapeless, poor thing. She did not look like a woman. But ranting about being insulted, when the clerk did not intend to insult her, was awful. I misgendered a really tall, large black clerk at the Winn Dixie. She corrected me (she was not transgender) and I apologized. that's all that needs to be done. Stuff like that has always happened to people who are not trans. It's unfortunate. That person was not being attacked. SHe was very frustrated... though. Her transition hasn't been successful.
Attention whores don’t deserve respect. In my book!
Just try to think if tomorrow, everywhere you went, people called you ma'am. How would you feel at the end of the day. Maybe she got to a breaking point and had a meltdown. I don't think she was doing it for attention. She clearly had an anger problem.
Separate issue. The masculine behavior, cave man grunts, challenging a man to an azz kicking... behaviors & thought process inconsistent with being a woman in the culture. BECAUSE he’s not a woman.
Being angry, yelling, grunting and suggesting you'll kick someone's ass if neither masculine nor feminine. It's aggressive and inappropriate if you want a civil outcome. Women, biological women, can act the same way. They're put down for acting out of "character," but they're not put down by being called men. Maybe that is that transwoman's character. There are women who are more masculine in their behavior, even as biological women. I think I'm one of those. I would never threaten an ass kicking in any instance... but I don't want MY ass kicked. I'm not stupid. That transwoman has a lot to learn and may be in early transition stages... She has many problems. Surely that IS the main issue.
LOL yeah beards aren't going to cut it! Although in 10 years ya never know what the world will be like.
They don't walk around with beards. That's dumb.
@oksurething but they do walk around with a dick...
@Rissyanne But I'm fine with that. I like transgender girls, I think they're sexy.
@oksurething so you are bisexual
@Rissyanne I am, but that's not the point. Straight guys can like trans girls too.
@oksurething they aren’t straight. If they want to be with a tranny. They aren’t straight
@Rissyanne You are incorrect
@oksurething no a straight man would never be with someone with a dick or used to have a dick.
@Rissyanne How would you know? You're a woman.
@Rissyanne Some have male genitals, some undergo reassignment surgery and dispense with them.
@Screenwriter they are still a guy.
@oksurething yes a real woman. And I would never be with a guy who has been with a tranny. They are gay or bisexual
@Rissyanne If they're bisexual, you would be fine being with them because they still like girls.
@oksurething I tell you what I’ll post a question
@Rissyanne You do that
@oksurething I did
@oksurething Guys, Would you date a transgender woman? ↗
@oksurething she is incorrect but so many people are... ignorance is ignorance.
@Rissyanne I've asked that question recently and most straight men on here do not want to be with a trans woman. But trans women have always seen themselves as female. They transform their bodies to align with their mental image of themselves. It's called gender dysphoria. For 95% of people doing this, they are better in the end and live happier lives.
@Rissyanne Some cis men are fine with transwomen. Calling someone tranny is insulting. It's like calling someone gay a sissy. It's either trans or transman or transwoman. A man who is attracted to women is straight. I do believe there is crossover if the female still has male genitalia. Not sure most straight guys would find that attractive. But doesn't mean a man is gay.
@Screenwriter I don't know too many gay men who would be attracted to the person in the photo above. Lmao
But coach, not many straight men would be amenable to said transwoman stripping down and displaying a penis between her legs... Just as I would be put off by a transman with a vagina, since I'm only familiar with my own and have no interest in anyone else's, especially not attached to a male appearing and acting body. It's a challenge!
@Screenwriter I don't disagree. But for the men who do find the woman above attractive and could care less about the genitalia doesn't make them gay.. just makes them tolerant of sexual organs. They don't really care because 99% of her is a HER... they will "deal" with the rest!
All of you need to get something straight. If you are attracted to a tranny You’re not straight!
@Rissyanne Sounds like you turned a guy gay or something and now your pissed off!
If you are attracted to a tranny (and I don't think the word is insulting, we should stop giving so much power to simple words, it is only as insulting as the person saying it means it to be) I don't think you're 100% straight but they're not 100% gay either, bisexual doesn't cut it either.
I agree! Makes sense to me!
I love my fatherland, why is this not socially acceptable to be patriotic? If I use my right to free assembly of the people I get beaten up by the police. Why?

Yeah you might be right on that! Good break down!
Oh please let it happen faster. I want to live to see it. You're depressing me Corerue!!! Waaaaahhh.
I think the sex organs are a big hang up for guys. Other than that I think most men would do it!
I think that a lot of men would already date trans women if it weren't for their public image. OEM sex organs or not.
That trans will whine about sexual politics 12 hours/day. Probably worse than a natural woman actually.
@hahahmm I don't disagree I think many of them are activists first then truly being want they want to be which is unfortunate.
You can already smell the fear in some of these comments below lol
Most guys who would date a transgender are straight!
Pretty sure that's completely false.
Why would a guy who is gay be attracted to someone who looks like the picture above. You aren't even in the ball park of knowing what you are talking about. So yeah this ignorant stigma is the question at hand.
I can't pretend to understand what gay guys find attractive about other guys. I'm saying if a guy is aroused by the smell, sound, and feel of a man (regardless of surgery) then he isn't entirely straight. Which is fine, but such people can already date transgenedered men without stigma.
Thanks for the comments!
How do you know? There are many transwomen with reassignment surgery who have functional vaginas. If they didn't tell you, you might not ever know.
Normalice, a man who is taking hormones will not "feel" like or smell like or look much like a man after a period of time. The hormones change them! Just like they do to teens undergoing puberty. It takes a few years, but it happens to trans people just like it does to teens.
@Screenwriter well, if they mask it to the point that no one can tell, and then they don't tell, we're talking about the stigma of expensive subterfuge - not the stigma of knowingly dating a transgender. And if they do tell but the guy is into it anyway, then whatever part of his brain is cool with that is at least heteroflexible.
I guess time will tell!
This is why you dont let people post anon. Now i can't block your ignorant ass.
Ignorant? 7 men have already suggested that they can’t wait for that day.
This confuses me as a Christian. Surely we should obey Jesus' command to love everyone regardless of who they are? I don't see that someone being gay or transgender is in opposition to that sentiment, so why are American Christians making the rest of us look bad by being xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, racist dickheads?
There are contradictory passages in the bible. It is considered sinful to be homosexual, for example. In my assessment, I do believe homosexuality isn't something I can advocate for -- The Bible does consider homosexuality sinful. That said, the Bible also tells people not to judge others, so I will not pursue action against someone for being a particular way. PC (USA) is a relatively progressive branch of the Presbyterian Church, as I note above -- I agree with their approach personally. The only line I am not willing to cross: advocating abortion as a healthcare right for women (it should be done only sparingly). I'm not sure why so many American Churches are vehemently opposed to homosexuality myself.
The thing is that that passage which describes homosexuality as sinful is in the old testament, which Jesus cancels in Acts.I am also pro-choice, because scientifically a foetus is not considered a child until it is outside of the baby, and it can't even feel pain properly until 3 months.
I don't vehemently oppose gay marriage or anything of the sort -- I think negatively of Pride since a person is more than their sexual orientation. I cannot, in good conscious, support abortion myself regardless of what it says in the Bible (whether it be for or against abortion doesn't matter to me). Whether it is scientifically considered a living being or not isn't an argument I'll make. It's about morals in my view; my morals favor the pro-life stance (people are free to dispute me on that claim if they wish).
The Pride movement is not about identifying yourself solely as LGBT, it is meant to show that you are ok with this being part of your identity, as for so long, we have been forced to hide while you straight guys make us be like you.I understand your stance on abortion, and I don't want to get into a debate with you. The last time abortion was on the news, my dad and I got into a really intense debate that ended badly. We have very polarising political views (I am socially liberal and economically neoliberal, while he is socially conservative and economically liberal.)
I can definitely concede there are purposes to the Pride Parade I might not necessarily appreciate given where I'm at currently. By no means do I harbor ill will toward homosexuals. I will hold an opinion, but won't cast negative judgement for their way of living. The Bible does speak out against judgement and judging people.
Here's my take on the bible. The New Testament is the fulfillment of the old Testament. Nowhere does Jesus say being gay is a sin. He never addresses sexuality at all. The only time he brings up sex is with Mary Magdalene. Telling her to stop being a prostitute. And it's unclear why he says this. We don't know if he was telling her that because she was sleeping with married men, which would be breaking the laws of marriage. So I say if Jesus never brings it up, it doesn't matter. Love one another as I have loved you. Forgive those that hurt you. Give to the poor and unfortunate. We can't determine the truth of a person's heart until we walk a mile in their shoes. Judge lest not you be judged.
Ha Ha Ha no doubt!
Still has male traits in the face 😉
@crazy8000 You ain't scoring nobody hotter then that chick in the photo! Child please!
If you find it hot is up to you. no matter physical appearance of sex some aren't attracted to that facial features or body on a deeper level 😉By what you claim. yeah. that relative. have blown of those that are considered more hot by the public. (they had shitty attitude)
@crazy8000 LOL yeah yeah yeah
That guy* is definitely not hot
@Nachowedgie You love her and you know it!
As a straight man who's already in a relationship I have no interest in a man pretending to be a woman
@Nachowedgie Ha Ha Ha ok
Typical response of someone who has nothing intelligent to say
The person in the above photo look like a poor excuse for a girl to you? You must be blind lol
From a couple tinder experiences, which ended in me walking out of the cafe, a guy can look pretty convincing in photoshopped pictures, in real life is where you can see they're "poor excuses" for girls.
Given your comments... you must want to be with a tranny.
LOL you talking to me?
Sexuality is not so black and white as you depict it. Maybe it is for you. But you cannot label someone as gay or bi because of your "rules."
@Screenwriter I guess I can.
Sure, you can call an orange an apple, doesn't make it one.
@Screenwriter you are delighted you think a man can be a woman
@Screenwriter If someone is attracted to someone of the same sex they are gay. If they are attracted to both they are bi. Period. Not rocket science.
Biologically a man cannot become a woman. But through hormone treatment and surgery a man or woman can transform and appear and feel genuinely like the mental, emotional equivalent of their preferred gender. This is a tiny minority of people, less than 2% of the world's population. If this makes their lives liveable and happy, I wish them the best and don't want to discriminate or hold their choices against them. I want them to gain acceptability and not derision.
@DeshawnMGTOW Not sure how many gay guys would be attracted to the person in the photo. It's ignorant to think that!
If he’s got a dick and you’re attracted to him... you’re gay or bi
@Screenwriter they need psychiatric help
@rissyanne Yeah you have said that 100 times now... we got it ! You are wrong but we got it lmao
anyone who seeks to transition must get psychiatric help before they transition to help them make the right choice...
@coachTanthony she's not wrong though
Black people do not like to be compared to gays or trannys
@Rissyanne They have all been marginalized groups and in that manner their civil rights have been ignored and they've been discriminated against. Women would be iincluded with these groups too.
I have heard a lot of black people get pissed about the comparison... I don’t blame them
I don't know, I guess that's like comparing a cubed number to the multiplication of two different numbers. Both operations involve multiplication, yes, but that doesn't make the operations actually compare significantly. Still two completely different operations based on multiplication. It's just a very loose comparison where too much emphasis on it can be misleading and perhaps cause miscalculation. I hope that makes sense.
@Rissyanne I agree. You liberals doing mental gymnastics that the best gymnast in the world.
Please don't compare black and gay people to trans people. Black and gay people don't require operations to exist as we are.
@Hypnos0929 Simply because you don't LIKE the comparison doesn't mean it isn't an apt comparison. It's comparing the disadvantaged status of blacks, gays, women and trans people that has and still occurs in this society. People have serious biases about these groups. Maybe you're angry about being lumped in with people who do things you don't approve of. That isn't the point. Discrimination is the point and all those groups have been and are being discriminated against. It's clear you are someone who wishes to discriminate against trans people by saying because you don't need an operation to "be who you are," you are somehow better than a trans person. I've needed operations to be who I am. To "fix" me. They are having operations to fix themselves. No one judges me on my operations. Why should I judge them.
It's not an apt comparison. Comparing the Asian minority to the black minority makes far more sense, and even that is not a apt comparison because of the major difference between how they came to the West
It's not about liking. That's comparing bears to dogs dressed as lions.
Transgender people have been around since the beginning of time. In some cultures they were even revered as gods. It's not just a 'fad' and some cute little phase - it's a real person who really feels that way.
Reality doesn't care about people's feelings.
@Randomawkwardness - yeah, 'feeling' is means nothing. Sewing a dick on you doesn't make you a man. Cutting it off doesn't make you a woman. People are so fukkin dumb.
Gender is a social construct - not the physical sex of someone. You can identify as a man while have a female sex and vice versa. Not all trans people go to the lengths of surgery and if they do, good for them. It doesn't make them any less of a person and it doesn't make it okay for you to disrespect them.
@Randomawkwardness - Complete and utter bullshit. Someone has given you a complete snow-job.
ok boomer www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/232363.php
@Randomawkwardness - So, if it's on the internet it must be true. Geez, the world is in trouble - you kids are so dumb it's scary.
From a medical journal? Really? Here: www.physiology.org/.../japplphysiol.00376.2005This one is cowrote by two people, Britta Torgrimson and Christopher Minson. Britta has a PH. D. in womens physiology and womens studies from the university of Oregon. Christopher has a PH. D. in exercise science, anesthesia and psychology and graduated and teaches at the university of Oregon. Are you trying to say that its wrong now? Two full scholars with doctorates who cowrote and published an article just on the differences between sex and gender.
It's an editorial, an opinion piece. The recent push to differentiate gender and sex is purely a leftist effort to change culture via corrupting the language. There are only 2 genders and anyone who claims to be anything other than the gender they were born as is mentally ill. The recent efforts to remove LGBT from the lists of mental illness is nothing more than an attempt to normalize aberrant behavior while simultaneously trying to spare the feelings of people instead of getting them help.
@Sixgun77 - What's worse is they consist of a very small percentage of the population - like one or two percent. But THEY need and want all the attention. It's like homosexuality - nobody really cares how you get your jollies. Seriously, what you do for sex I could care less. I just don't really need to know about it either. And you SURELY don't need my acceptance. Prejudice? That's a legal issue, not a gay-rights issue. We already have laws for that.
