When a couple gets in the car together who is supposed to drive? The man or woman?

- I don't think it matters. I usually prefer to do the driving, provided that the guy isn't a backseat driver. I can't stand that; I'm a very safe driver (much better than the vast majority of the people who have acted as backseat drivers while in the car with me), and all someone screaming in my ear and giving conflicting advice does is confuse and distract me, and create a potentially dangerous situation. Honest to God, the next time someone does that or starts harping on my car because it's not a sports car (though it's still very nice and perfect for me), I'm going to dump their ass on the side of the road. Sorry for the rant.1|00|1Is this still revelant?
- My boyfriend and I take turns honestly. Especially if we're off on a road trip so that we give eachother a chance to nap. However thinking about it more, he'll drive when we're downtown in the city as I HATE congestion, hate road side parking on busy streets, get so damn confused with where I'm going due to "one way streets"/ "streets where I can't drive through during certain times"/ damn road closures due to construction/a public event, crazy ass pedestrians - it just drives me insane! I tend to drive uptown in the suburban neighborhoods where it's slightly more calm 😬1|00|0Is this still revelant?

- How does it cause fighting when you don't drive? That should not be a fighting issue like at all. Not to judge but I think you need to reevaluate your relationship. Anyway, I personally don't think it matters who drives but when I was with my girlfriend I usually drove. It also depended on where we were going like... if she wanted to go to an event or something, we'd take her car and she would drive. If it was something general like grocery shopping we'd take my car and I'd drive.1|00|0Is this still revelant?
Yeah and usually women get pegged as the bad drivers. In most cases men are only bad drivers from recklessness and women are bad because of lack of coordination. My girlfriend used to tailgate like crazy earlier in our relationship but I'd lightheartedly call her out about it and now she doesn't do it anymore.

I know I just said That. I said men are more reckless which means they take bigger risks, speed etc. Women statistically get in more accidents as a whole but most are fender benders though. Men get in more serious/expensive accidents.
- If you don't drive, IT causes a problem? What is the IT that causes a problem? Are you saying that YOU cause a problem if the guy wants to drive?2|40|0Is this still revelant?
The problem is perception. Men scene in the passenger seat will make the woman appear to be sole supporter of the relationship taking care of the ankle monitor wearing hoodlum while balancing 2 jobs, school, kids and his lazy ass!

I got a new car a few months ago, wife won't drive it. Why do you suppose that is? Could it have something to do with the 400hp? Or the thousand dollar wheels? I dunno... MAYBE? LOL- Show All Show Less
