I have only downloaded Tinder twice in the past and I know you get people real close to your radius, but I am not really into a hookup and trying Bumble once again. I heard before people just go on Tinder for one night stands or something which I don't know if Tinder is really that way still in 2019. I heard Hily came out but they distance they have to a minimum is men from away from my state, which is kinda skewed for long distance relationships or meet and greet thing.
I know I'll probably be seeing guys within my university range with this app is I decide to try it out once again, but I'm worried with the hookup part. Thoughts or ideas?
It depends on your location for tinder. If you are near a college city then you may have some luck finding something on there but most will be hook ups.
If you want something you can not be really nervous about look up from your phone. There will be guys checking you out constantly at college and you will be approached quite often. You will have the most confident and experienced ones come first. Then you go from there. But to be honest with you nothing is ever over when it comes to relationships with people.
I may be one of the only users in here who has never used it. Frankly, I got tired of POF's shenanigans too. And what sites like ChristianMingle want? Nuts. I'm dirt poor, here. I want someone who is WIFE material; not a meaningless one night stand. And after the gal from China, who was cut off from me by the crazy president they have there, my standards have never been higher. And a good thing too. It's kept me away from a lot of abusers.
I didn't use Tinder for a quick. hook up. I haven't used Bumble for a hook up either. I used both so I could meet someone outwith my town as I want to meet people from somewhere new and hopefully leave here behind and start a life elsewhere!
I would say it's quite diverse. You'll find people who just want to hook-up or find an friends with benefits, but you'll also find people looking for something more serious.
