This was not an attack on single people but quite the opposite... to bring awareness to the issue. I think many of us who are single get those stares, the questions, the sad looks because somehow in those peoples eyes there is something wrong with us.

Being single should be an exciting part of your life just as much as being in a relationship. Know this... Marrying late is better than marrying wrong.

You're about to get me on my soapbox with this question-

No, not at all. As a matter of fact, it's been proven some people are happier, healthier, and do better in life when they're single than in relationships!
Contrary to what social media and movies portray, there are people out there that like being single and aren't crying about it.

Someone needs to find a cure for more predominant issues out there in the dating world: like why it's so hard to find loyal, faithful, honest people. Or why some genuinely good people have a harder time finding partners than others.
I'd love someone to research and find a cure for those "ailments."

No offense Coach; I know your job is to help people find relationships. However, you cannot be happy in a relationship if you're not happy or capable of being alone either!!! Now if someone has issues with dating or relationships and they are actively seeking help and trying to better his or herself? That's great. But I still don't think being single is a curse, disease, or even a punishment. Some people just have a harder time dating than others.

I totally would too!!! And take myself out on a date afterwards!

@Cynicaldreamer Nothing to worry about, I mean we'll turn a blind eye to the occasional bluntness... though I suspect that will be funny enough we'll have to turn another blind eye! I mean essentially my optician is making more money than the Dating Coach! -Which only seems right! lol

Just being single isn't the issue...
Why someone is could be...
*Single cuz they still looking for that perfect that don't exist-issue
*Single because they are afraid to put themselves out there-issue...
*Single because they keep going after online relationships that don't pan out-issue
*Bitter/ jaded from past hurt
But then there's some people that really are happier being single.
Or need to get their heart, or head, or life straight before they are ready for a relationship... is better than entering a relationship, which is better if they're not in the right place to be.
The only person who can really say it's an issue/wrong for them to be single is that person. .. Noone should date/be in a relationship because they think they're expected/supposed to be or because they feel pressured/pushed into it..

There is something wrong with me, apparently.
Until I was older than 30, very few women were interested.
Those who were interested used me, then broke my heart.
After women hopped off the carousel and declared that they were ‘ready for a good man’ I was too bitter and resentful to be interested.
I am more receptive now, but there is still a lot of bitterness and I regard all females with extreme suspicion.
During a secondary education degree (2012-2016) I found that I could tick the boxes for high-functioning Asperger’s Syndrome, which explained a lot.
I have close to zero emotional intelligence and I have always found it exhausting to interact with people.
I think that I am as close to a Vulcan as someone can be in real life.
Hence, to the neurotypical people, there is something wrong with me.
Add an IQ that is in the genius band and it explains why one of my levels of Dante’s vision of Hell is to be forced to interact with a room filled with people.

So at the last count there was at least 7.5 billion people in this world and I'm guessing you've only lived 1 of those lifes, so what gives you the authority to be a dating coach? Have all your dates been successful (hence you are qualified to give advise on successful dating but not qualified to comment on people who have had unsuccessful dates ) or have all your dates been unsuccessful (so you can give tips on how not to go wrong). And I seriously don't mean this nastily, I'm 100% convinced we could sit down and have a beer/a coffee together and get on, so there's nothing personal mate, but can you see why I might think anyone calling themselves a dating coach seems a bit of a Narcissistic, self obsessed character to me? I pray I've got it wrong but hey I'm only one in 7.5 billion so what does my opinion count! lol
