My preference would be somewhere in between, but closer to the obsessed side. On the 5 love languages quiz (www.5lovelanguages.com), Quality Time is my highest score so I like spending a lot of time with my partner. If she's willing and able to do everything I want to do with me, that would be great, but if there's something I really want to do that she doesn't (or can't for some reason) then I'd like to occasionally be able to go off and do that without her being upset about it.
Ideally, she would be capable of doing things on her own if for some reason I'm not able to do it with her, but if she prefers doing things with me, that's great.
Fortunately for me, this is the kind of person I'm in a relationship with and I'm happy about that.
"She likes being with you" is a contradiction no real life woman would actually feel. I know B is supposed to be the "correct" answer and all, but screw your peer pressure, society! I want A, all the way! A girl who actually LOVES me, not just barely tolerates me being around and makes me jump through hoops just to not get ghosted.
I think there are always good and bad aspects in everything or at least in most things. For example there is constructive criticism and destructive criticism.
Same way I think a little bit of obsession from a girlfriend is always appealing. Not too much though.

Well, obviously, a middle ground would be the best. A girl who's obsessed with me would get tiring as I would never be able to get any time for myself, and an independent girl would be way too distant for the relationship to feel like an ACTUAL relationship and she would just feel more like a friend with benefits. But if I HAD to pick between the two extremes, I'd go with the clingy girl, at least she would actually make me feel valuable in the relationship.
