I have never really thought of it. I just figured honest pursuit was better than playing games I don't understand. I do worry whether I'm being "a lot" though
Guys have the same worries.
That is completely fair. I wonder why we as a society expect men to be the ones to chase.
At this point it's really not society; it's women.

I've heard this. Biologically speaking, men like to chase.
Yeah I think it's how we evolved.
Does "the game" seem to make it more enjoyable? What I mean is, if the girl were to show interest and then slightly withdraw to entice the chase, does that make it more desirable somehow?
Just be yourself and don't go out of your way to show interest. If a guy is into you like that he will let you know.
Oh, it's much too late for me to do that. I've told him I have feelings for him.
Hope it works out for you.
Lol we shall see.
If not I'm available and we can flirt all you want.
Lol I will keep that in mind.
See, I find this interesting. I have been told that it is boring for men, and that they lose interest very quickly when pursued by women. "It's too easy", is the general consensus.
The only thing that is necessary is to not look desperate and give the guy space. My wife did persue me, but from a distance and in a very subtle way.
Is that because you are usually the pursuer?
Actually a couple times, girls have pursued first. However, like 99.9% of the time, it's me pursuing the girls.
I welcomed those couple of girls that did it though. I was into them anyway
