- JJ, there's no "dating" right now. But $200 won't buy any sort of decent game system. It will hardly buy one the the latest games!
If it's a FIRST date, 200 is a lot to spend when you have little knowledge of the person. $50, sure. 200 is overkill.
$200 won't buy you a decent game system, so that's a "no" too.
I'd pay a bill or two and start saving for the game system I really want.
If it's a first date, again, I'd just do coffee and chatting for a half hour. It's too dangerous to spend too much time with anyone not in your pod. It's also too cold to hang around outside where it's safer to hang out in most places in the US.
Dating's truthfully off the table. And 200 won't get you anything decent in a game system. Also, the best systems aren't even available. - If I had 200 hundred dollars I would buy a used sports car. It's been a long time since I was down to my last $200 in discretionary spending and had to make a choice like that. If I had ten $20 bills, I'd spend it on groceries for myself. I don't buy women things on dates unless I really know them and trust them, and there's no good console I could get for that price (not even a Switch Lite; they're $220), not that I want any of the trash current consoles, anyway. I'd probably take the console over the date though, as I'd get more longevity out of that.0|10|0 - Well 200 is too little for a game system and too much for most dates.
But if I'm given that money and told to chose I would still go for a date only make it more than a 200$ meal. Maybe rent a van and go on a road trip or do some extreme sport together like skydiving or book a boat ride for a day.
