I’ve noticed that a lot of white men want to date me and think I’m most beautiful when I’m my winter shade and when my hair isn’t in an Afro. I’m fully black, both of my parents are really brown black Americans, but I’ve been told I look “mixed” Might sound idiotic but I’m really curious to know if these men would still be attracted to me if I didn’t look different from most fully black people. I’m afraid that I’ll be fetishized and I don’t want to flat out ask someone this stupid question. Here’s a few pics to see what I look like

You just look friendly, warm, and inviting. "White men's preference" has nothing to do with how much melanin is in your skin. I wouldn't think of you as being mulatto, either. In college, I had a friend who looked nearly white, even though she was 100% African (I never asked, but happened to find out). Your color is a very pretty golden brown, though. So pretty.
I prefer the idea of pursuing folks within each of our own cultures. I do not believe in some international mono-culture/mono-race (how awful would that be?). That being said, love is blind, too, and you will, someday soon, find a guy who falls head-over-heels in love with you. Your pictures convey so much about your kind and sweet demeanor. Different cultures mean different heritages and life/family experiences. Different successes; different failures. It has nothing to do with melanin. I once had a black coworker who refused to date black men, in spite of being black. WTF? She had also been knocked up by 3 guys and then married a 4TH guy (white) with the intention of having his baby. Be yourself and see what happens. Be open about your feelings, without intimidating others. White people are terrified of being accused of being racist by blacks. The liberal/socialist news and colleges have done so much to divide us and point out our diversities, rather than pointing out how we are all Americans. Like any other race of men, white men find women to be beautiful. But, since implementing what they call "social constructs," liberals have made it so hard to even just have a friendly conversation.

I think you may be on to something when it comes to the perceived attractiveness of different skin tones, but I don’t think you have to be worried about being fetishized because you’re simply a smoking hot woman with a beautiful face and you look friendly and approachable, which guys really like. So I think they genuinely want to date you.
Me personally, I do usually find biracial/lighter-skinned women more attractive, but dark-skinned women with Native American features are extremely attractive. So it’s not always cut and dry.

Yes. And that is why when asking them questions like "Do white men like black women? Be sure to add "/mixed women" within the question so you can get more positive responses. If you put just "black girls", it'll be a definite "no".
Well I didn’t want to know if white men liked black women. I am talking about features more than I am about race... I’ve only ever dated white men do me asking white men if they liked black women wouldn’t make any sense... it’s really like some people on this app just don’t listen

I have provided an answer based on my observation on GAG since I've been here for a while. If you do a search and take a look at the questions like "Do white men love Asian girls?" Its a definite yes with romantic poetic response. If someone asks "Do white men love black women " you would literally think people are telling them about their mom, so to answer your question yes they prefer mixed women because their features are closer to eurocentric standards of beauty. Its quite evident in these comments too. They are nice to you because you look mixed and they provided the reason why they prefer mixed women. Its just like what I said.

You're bugging, black women, along with Asian men are statistically the least desired partners when it comes to interracial dating. You can't just lie and pretend what you're saying is facts. Also, you're mixed, you can't speak for black people. If that's the case, I as a black person should be able to speak for mixed race people, evem though I'm not that. See how that log I doesn't flow.
The statistics are not bullshit and I have nothing to feel better about because black men are the next least desired, which I am a black man. I say what I say so black people wake up from this false integration and multiculturalism dream so many of us are under. @TerminallyChill first of all, I couldn’t care less if a white man doesn’t like me... white men aren’t better than any other race of men on this earth. But black women have more options than just black men and I’m tired of black men telling black women they aren’t good enough or that they can’t have anyone. when that’s not true... I’ve only dated white men and my entire life so I know for a fact black women have options.
Trust me, you didn't have to tell me that you only date white men. If you think that wasn't glaringly obvious then you're a bigger self hater than I previously thought. With a question like this, you might as well have stamped coon on your forehead. Have fun with that psychological trauma.

I prefer non afros but every woman is different and some can pull it off very well. My biggest problem with black women right now if that as soon as something happens in the news they are all spouting White Privilege this and White Privilege that.
That makes me realize that getting into a relationship with a black woman would be foolhardy for me. Even if she wasn't screaming about White Privilege her family and friends would be and I would feel like I was on trial for my race. I will not be putting myself in that position.
After all of the good work done over the years to bring people together there is always something that ensures that we will be enemies
I can only speak for myself but a beautiful black woman is as desirable as a beautiful white woman as a beautiful Asian woman as a Middle Eastern woman. I've always said, if the skin were taken off them they are all the same underneath. Every woman, regardless of their color skin, ethnic background, level of education wants love. Desires a person, man, or woman, that can love them and satisfy them.
Fundamentally your a very beautiful woman. And personally I don't mind what your background or race is your gorgeous.
Some people get too hung up on race and if you have this mix your more attractive or less. I've been very lucky in my life to have girlfriend of different races and each experience is different and each exciting in its own way.
People need to be open minded and learn to love people as people.

Well if actually read what I said, you would see that I’ve stated many times that I am a fully black girl and both my parents are fully black. Not once did I state that I was mixed with anything. I simply stated that growing I was either asked or it was assumed that I was biracial because I have lighter skin, loose curly hair and amber brown eyes. And again like I stated in my question, I said I did not want to be looked at differently or fetishized because I looked differently from MOST Afro American people.
