I would.
You know somehow it never even crossed my mind to wonder if they have guns.

I knew my last crush had a gun, and my new girlfriend has already told me she has never shot a gun so I'm pretty sure she dosent have any lol.

I try to date decent people, so no girls that think it's ok to hurt is men. So of she's to type of to hit slap or threaten with things like frying pans she's all ready out.
Basiclly if i think she's a good trustworthy person what do I care if she has a gun?

Also I have guns so would be kind of hypocritical to say no lol.

Why not? A gun is no more dangerous than a kitchen knife or a rope if you are with the wrong person , they will find a way to be “crazy”. It also depends on his personality , if he is a stable guy who knows how to store it right. and when to take it out. Or if he is just a gun totting buffoon , who walks around the house with his gun , pointing the muzzle at the chandeliers.
It can be a bonus actually if he is a stable guy with a gun, because i will feel protected as well

If they have the same attitude towards them as I do yes I don’t like guns so if someone had one for ONLY the worst of worst it situations yes. I can’t be with someone that has a whole collection , I want kids and kids are getting smarter and I don’t need my child going in there feeling depressed or even after teaching them how to respect a gun still chooses to be stupid and shoots themselves no thank you. I know it’s rare but I don’t want to take that chance

I think it depends on her reasoning and why she owned it. It can get a lot more complex than just simply owning a gun like political views, gun use for recreational shooting practice, hunting, protection, gun collector, gun on display, runs a gun shop- gun repair, runs an antique war shop or museum, ... I could keep going 😅 my point is that simple gun ownership could mean quite a lot of things

Yes I would date someone who owned a gun.
I am in the military and fired and handled to many guns to count.
I also live in the country side were everyone has a gun.
It would be hard not to date someone who does not have a gun.
As long as everyone respects the gun it is pretty safe.

This is america; and while I don't like the idea of guns around every corner, people still have the right to own them unless convicted of violent crime. Where it goes to far for me though is if they're a gun but though, like NRA. That's too much for me.

Sure. The only man in my family who doesn't own a gun, can't legally own a gun, which is really the more concerning situation in my opinion.

What people own doesn't define them as a person it would depend not on the gun or lack of by the person, but I'm not a fan of guns and would prefer not having one in the house.

Guns are not bad in of themselves. However, guns are often not given the respect they require, leading to misuse etc. long story short, it depends.

i never owned any or even considered it until last year when all the covid crap started up. and now i do. so yea i would have no issue dating someone who owns guns as long as it is all legally owned.

No. I've had sniper training, shot expert at the military range. I don't keep guns in my home and haven't since leaving the service.
