Am I the only one bothered by women dating a guy shorter than them?

I have myself on public, I’m not going to chicken out and be anonymous. I am only 5’7 and have attracted decent looking guys but they’re my height or only taller by an inch. I don’t wear heels
but I just prefer a taller glass of water. Now I see attractive women like Mandy Moore, Christy Carlson Romano etc. I don’t know for certain if the guy is shorter, they could be wearing heels. But if that’s the case they’re maybe an inch or so apart in height.

So let me specify. I am not bothered by the choice they made, it’s their life not mine. I just can’t see myself wanting that, I’m not that tall and expect a guy to be taller than me.

At 5' 7" you are in about the top 10% of of height for females in the USA. About 90% of women are shorter than that.

Why does it bother you? It's pretty weird that it does. It's not necessarily bad just... kind of weird. This is of course coming from a short guy of whom has been with women taller than himself (for the most part).

I think most girls want to date guys taller than them. Sometimes there are girls that go out with someone shorter, but I think even then it's more so something they're willing to look over than something they actually want

Why should you be bothered? Its their life. My girlfriend is taller than me. she's 6'2. If you want to date someone tall, thats your thing and your life. It shouldn't bother you or concern you who the others are dating.

Why did you automatically assume I think it's wrong if I guess someone being trans? That's what a 5 year old would assume. A tad dumb perhaps?

Fair enough. But the phrasing of the trans statement seemed a bit offensive (to me anyway).

And yeah it is projection; with a hint of mental insanity for good measure. Don't really know why women feel the need to shame men of short stature. Not being attracted to someone is one thing and totes understandable. But demonizing / dehumanizing them is a completely different ballgame.

Bonus points for the woman intentionally misinterpreting a short man's post regarding self-hatred as arrogance (which most women seem to do on the internet).
