I'm willing to do my hair, I love to curl it so it really adds enough of the "she tried hard" vibe to the whole outfit. I would prefer to wear something that is very *me* (meaning something that I feel comfortable in and not trying to be someone I am not).
I'd add some fine jewellery and just do my own "signature makeup"... What do you think guys, is that enough? It's casual in the end, nothing extragavant.
Also, heels or sneakers? I love both but I'm not that great at walking in heels no matter how much I practice.

For an amusement park, yeah, I think that's totally fine. I'd say nicer jeans and a nicer tank top, if you have them. If the date goes well and there ends up being a second dinner date or something, you can dress it up a bit.
I personally wouldn't wear high heels to an amusement park. Lol whenever I see girls at a baseball game or something wearing a mini skirt and high heels, barely able to walk up the stairs, I think they look ridiculous, but maybe that's just me lol.
If you wear a tank top, I'd recommend some form of overshirt or jacket. Personally, I would find a nice blouse instead. Sneakers, unless you're going to someplace fancy
