An architect would have to draw up the plans for the house. If asked, I would and could build it...

Master of Engineering, materials science.
Even so, give me some time. I'm no longer a young man!

Absolutely, but it would have to be someone special. I'm not just building a house for any ordinary girl.

I don’t know how to build a house but I don’t mind doing what I can such as carrying wood from one area to another so that the other guys can build the house.
I have helped build hundreds of homes for the less advantaged and veterans through Habitat for Humanity and Homes4Families. It's a very gratifying experience and can provide you with much useful information, along with meaningful interactions with others. There are many similar organizations around the world. You don't need experience (though I had previously designed and built my own home). It's not a guy thing... there were female helpers, also. If you have the time and are willing to help out, check out your local opportunities.
I don't do it for a living, but I pretty much know how to do everything when it comes to residential construction and if I don't I can figure it out. So it gets done, but I know I take more time than specialist tradesmen that dose the same work all day every day. Building isn't hard, but it does take a lot of time and energy to do everything yourself. I'm currently building out a guest house that is about 700 square feet on my property. Yesterday morning before work I installed a 200 amp solar ready combo meter-load center for electric hook up. I will probably do my home runs this morning for all my circuits. Would I do that for some random girl? No... It's a lot of work lady and materials aren't easy too easy to find at the moment. I don't have an issue building things on my property, so if I was married and something needed to be build I could probably do it over time, but it would depend on if we really needed it.
Not sure what that has to do with a guy being hardworking. Do you know how much labor is involved in building a modern home? It would probably take a couple years doing it by myself. Since I'd still have to work a full time job. I've taken on pretty big projects around the house. Even doing a pretty heavy remodel. That much goes on to being absurd.
Being an architect that's precisely what my husband did, he designed and had it built to our exact specifications.
He also designed the other five bespoke properties within our exclusive estate. No I only build a house for myself primarily and secondary for my family. So never for them alone. And if I do all that work be damn sure I will be the king of it.
It's got nothing to do with "hard working" - it's not my skill set.
You wouldn't want me performing surgery on someone either. Stick to what you're good at.If you pay me for it, also why specifically guys? We could all build houses
Wait why do we need to build this house againI absolutely would not, if I were forced to build a house I rather be the sole decider on the actual house, she would have to do something extra back for me for giving me such a tedious job
I think we all want to find that special person
and it is (for me at least) natural to want to provide for her
(but only for someone that I love and loves me)Carpentry is not my long suit so, best I could do is HELP with SOME of it. If I could build a house by simply playing a drum solo or a stack of records, I'm there!
I didn't build the house myself but I had it built by my contractor.
I could probably do this. It would take a long time and it would only be a single story because I do not like heights.
Hard working guy or are you looking for a sucker. I will help my true friends do anything they need. But I won’t give time money and effort for someone that’s too lazy to work hard themselves
Considering I build a house for my parents, hell yeah. Totally.
Willing, yes, but it's probably going to fall down due to lack of construction experience.
Yes, if I knew how to, I’d build a house for anyone
hm maybe a tree house cause I've always wanted to build one. An actual house sounds too difficult.
No. Because they'd probably sell it on the long term and keep all the money for themselves
Absolutely. Special or not. Building a home for Someone in need is truly a blessing. The rewarding feeling doesn't fade away quickly
