can u explain women of color? you are saying we aren't allowed?
Yeah of course :-) Women of color meaning that minority women statistically have been shown to earn less than white woman, especially compared to white men even if we have the same job working just as hard. There are still a lot of prejudice/racism/biases that block women of color from advancing in the workforce. I have found myself working harder to prove myself that I am smart enough even within my grad school program.
I noticed that too. i'm a black woman myself, and they do make it harder. Sometimes i feel like they try too push you towards welfare but the cooperate world is not for us
I wish you the best and I pray that God gives you success no matter what kind of barriers society holds <3

the recent college one
How many Bill Gates do you think are in the world 😂
True. But... here is the thing with that type of mindset :Most people will never be Eminem , or Oprah Winfrey, or some other big rapper or athlete. Most people will be working / middle class. Most aspiring artists / singers/ actors/ writers etc will be just that : aspiring. For every big name out there ( insert name of famous singer , writer , artists , athlete etc. here) you will have a tens of thousands that will never make any real money. The number of singers , actors etc who are working regular 9 to 5 jobs is legion. And that how it will be for them for the rest of their lives. I know it sounds negative but that is the reality. That's how it is in a capitalistic society such as the US. For the rest of us there is formal education.
@Texaskid1 also true but if you have that mindset you will not become like one of them. Unless you win the lottery.
Yes but why would I want to be one of them? Death is the great equalizer. The ultimate destiny of say , Eminem , or Bill Gates is the same as the guy who drives the bus , or mine for that matter. If one becomes obsessed with the material - as American culture is - then one could say "Look at me , I have a huge house , and a very expensive car. I have it all now." Yes , we need money. Material possessions are not a bad thing. But when we drop its not like we can take any of this stuff with us. As for lottery winners : most of them will go broke with in 10 years or so. Look it up when you have a chance.
@Texaskid1 I never Said I was obsessed about money but some people who wanna come that far is not for the money. And I'm obviously talking about those who wins like 100 million dollars to your last paragraph. I just answered the question lol nothing else.
