I'm in flight school with a flight instructor job upon graduation. Flight instructors make around 42 K a yearRegional Pilots make anywhere between 42 K and 100 K Commercial Pilots working for one of the big 4 airlines or Internationally can earn anywhere between 80 K - 400 K depending on the contract and companyThere is a shortage of pilots so going for this type of Career is a good option for people interested in Aviation
I used to work in banking and finance
I currently help people in my local area with various landscaping things. The pay fluctuates a lot so I can't really say.I'm starting my college program on the 4th to begin my career :)
Well right now I’m a research and development program manager for internet of things devices and networks. Its bad karma to discuss pay in this environment.
I bet you make minimum wage lolz
@ChefCurry give or take yeah about that
Does that require a degree for you to do?
@Physics-Man yeah usually either a degree in engineering or computer science at a minimum sometimes a masters degree.
May I ask which one you have?
@Physics-Man I have a bsee and an mba
Electrical Engineering? So you're some kind of genius then? You must be rolling in the bank with those degrees. High five for being a STEM graduate. I know hardly any girls who majored in STEM. So that's pretty cool. Did you also graduate from prestigious universities?I've taken a break from community college at the moment; I got discouraged due to a C I received in my last Calculus 1 class. And that was after having taken it two other times. Last semester I went was Fall 2017. The first time I dropped it, and the second time I got a D. I live 10 miles from UCLA and 8 CSUN. So I intend to focus on UCLA. I was obsessed with going to UCLA, but after these two years, I still want to go there, but now I don't care as much and would be content with CSUN. I got 3 AA degrees out of it though. But I still want my BS degrees.
@Physics-Man well you are in the military right? It’s a good place to be. GI bill and all that.
Or maybe I’m getting you mixed up with someone else I don't know
I'm a secret agent, but don't tell anybody. 👀
I'm outing you to the world!😈
Oh no. 😭
Oh no!!! Now I'm crying too😪😢😭😭😭
I'm an Infantryman in the US Army. I specialize in mortars; specifically the 60mm M224A1 mortar system. My job involves providing close fire support to riflemen against targets in defilade and to enable immediate and constant suppression against unaware targets in the open. I'm a Specialist (E4) in rank. I'm the National Guard, so at my paygrade I make an average of about $5,000 a year from service alone. I also work 3 other jobs in the civilian world as a security guard. In my primary job, I'm an Armed Security Guard at a wine and spirits licensed vendor. There I make the equivalent of $22.20 an hour. I'm also an Armed Security Guard at various AMC theaters. I make $19 an hour here. Then I'm also an on-call unarmed security guard for restaurants and upscale boutique stores. Here I make $17 an hour. I work anywhere from 68 to 72 hours a week. I make about $60,000 to $65,000 a year.
64 to 72 hours a week.*
