I also work remotely from home in a home office which many people I meet seem to envy, but I might have found it easier attending a workplace. The difficulty with working from home is like you don't have to go to school every day, but you have the same amount of hours in homework that you have to motivate yourself to do. So I tend to slack off a lot and procrastinate until I'm behind, then turn into a workaholic to catch back up. Actually impending deadlines help me to kick me in the ass and make me work hard again and get rid of those self-doubts.
The biggest difficulty for me is that I take comfort in what I learn, only to find it obsolete as soon as tomorrow. So then I have to constantly learn something new... and you know the saying, old dogs can't learn new tricks. My biggest fear is becoming that old dog.
Right now about my last job it's 3 and about my new job It's 7. I think it depends on u that what u care about yourself. So what I'm saying and is my opinion at the end is that live your own life and care about what you feel is right and that's the only thing that matters. every body has his or her own life and you should only care about yours. Of course, If you don't hurt others
"But I need to eat, so someone need to feed me or pay me!!!"

Thanks! Feels awesome to help them digitalize their material. Right above my highest boss/chief is the cultural department, and above that is the goverment. So I kinda work in the basement of the society.
