Which language was it? And yes an annoying thing about languages is to keep it up! So much hard work goes into it its a shame to lose it.
Since I live in California, Spanish. Several years later as an adult I had a job working with the public. My time was so crunched and it was so high stress, that I couldn't add on being the Spanish language contact person where I worked. I think that was one reason I let it go.
Wow, that's a big mix and impressive if you got a grasp in any of them! I am independently studying Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, Irish , Latin and Scottish Gaelic.
