I was in an honor society and we did social service things. I used to go to frat parties (sororities didn't like me around...) but I didn't understand the rest and wondered if I missed out on something.
I don't think you're missing out on much.
"As a plus, we were friends with people in frats/sororities so we still got to go to all the parties we wanted" Of course, for a girl that's much more likely.

My opinion of someone decreases once I find out they support Trump or Bloomberg. Reason I brought this up is most sororities and fraternities are run by unis to corrupt students minds and most unis are controlled by corrupt politicians across the country.the us is the only developed country that still relies on ignorance and strict gender roles
Jesus Christ tradition does suck
The Greek System, Frat/Soro's are like clubs in University, usually have a house they all share. Some have honorable intents, but I dont know how to answer it without being in the negative.
It is ok you csn answere the negative aspects too
They're usually rich kids who discriminate on campus and try to take advantage of freshman girls and monopolize college sex and parties by blocking freshman guy non-frat members from entering parties.
Okay that's the negative. Positive: they can be cool people if they don't see you as an outsider.
How do they take advantage of freshman girls?
They prowl the campus handing out invites to frat parties and then try to get the girls as drunk as possible in hopes of scoring sex.
They also block all men from attending said party except for only the members of their specific frat. This is exactly why sororities should be allowed to host parties.
@Robertcw The students were raised by the parents or professors to believe in those things. The funny thing is those very same parents and professors were brainwashed by Republican and Establishment Dem politicians to indoctrinate them with "my way or the highway" sort of thinking...If we vote for Bernie Sanders all frats and sorors will be abolished
