I actually have both of those books! I see them lying on our bookshelf all the time. My dad bought them a really long time ago. You think I should read them? I've often picked both books up but I haven't really been motivated to actually read them😅😂
WHAT? I only wish to God I would have had a dad that bought those types of books where I could have read them.By all means, YES, read those books!Start with Rich Dad Poor Dad, then read Think And Grow Rich. That was the order I read them in, and I feel that is the best order. You have a literal TREASURE right before you. Please, please take advantage of it!What will you do?
😆 I will definitely read them! Thank you, this was the motivation I needed!Have you read "Follow Your Heart - Andrew Matthews"? That's one of my all time favorite books, it really helped me change my life.
No I haven't, but I will look into it. thanks for the recommendation!
And thank you🙏! I really needed a little push to read those books! 👌
For sure. I will say this too:If you have any gene in you that has a proclivity for being an entrepreneur at all (even if you don't realize it yet), those books will definitely bring it out! They literally changed my outlook on life. And I only came across both of them about a year and a half ago. Before then, I'd never even heard of either book.I'm not even joking with you, if I would have read them in high school, I'm serious, I probably would already be a millionaire.I'm on my way to that mark now anyways, but I would have had such a head start. Lol.
They are both good books, but the talk only about real estate investing (which is great) but you can also do quite well by steady investing in the market (dividend stocks, who cares what the price does). Both are good strategies.
@KrakenAttackin Rich Dad talks about financial education and the importance of such education.Think And Grow Rich talks about the correct mindset to achieve almost literally ANYTHING you want in life.Cheers.
@Eagle_93 - thank you so much! I've started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and it's amazing! I've only just begun and I'm blown away by it's essence!
@Aya17. You're very welcome :)Make the best of it!It has a lot of nuggets in it that one can learn from, for that matter, both of those books do!

Goddamn, this made my eyes water. I kind of relate to this. Because people in my old school would have approved of me if I was white. I sure as fuck didn't have it as bad as you though. I hate that people have to go through this shit. This gets me so angry.
:') Something similar happened to me. I feel like I would have also fit in more if I had more of a black accent and culture. Seemed like there was always something. Like even if I had money, cute girlfriend, & nice clothes, I feel like there would have been something else where I'd have to prove my worth. All that for shallow people. People that would cast you out if you lost everything. So in a way, I'm kinda glad I didn't fit in much. 😂
True true. I'm glad I met you :')
this past hour has been nice, stranger 👌🌚
i remember looking at my high school year book about 4 years ago thinking why did I allow these people to ruin my life in high school. I talked to my brother about how I should have stuck up for myself more. He told me it wouldn't have made a difference. He said at our high school either you were in or you were out. There wasn't much that could be done. He left early when he got kicked out of school. He decided just to get his GED and ended up being out before his class. He only went to the classes he wanted to so that wasn't going to work anyway. If it makes you feel any better a lot of those people end up peaking in high school It gets better with time. It took me about 2 years to get over high school I went to two reunions to face my complex.
The "system" teaches you to WANT to fit in since people like that do nothing that initiates reform. You can miss out on so much and waste your life. Glad you saw the light!
How cool would it be able to go back with the knowledge and confidence you have now? There would be some serious payback, for sure.
@KrakenAttackin Yes i highly agree
True that. But I mean some things could have been avoided 😂
If you could go back and change that would you still be who you are now though? What seemed like something that should have been avoided may have just been the thing you needed to get to where you are now.
That's a really good one!👌I have lots, but I'd probably give less of a fuck about what other people thought of me though.
Ye, I agree
I can relate tbh :')
Im more miserable now I think as Im older.. we should of had our 25th reunion...
The success of a girl asking out a guy is much higher than the opposite in high school
Also would e called that girl that gave me her number in my yearbook even though she still had a boyfriend in the marines. 🤔
